Gardens require great love and care for them to flourish. In order to be most effective in caring for a garden, one must understand the elements in which it lives; namely, the rain it has received and the temperatures which trigger it to bloom, bud, or go dormant. One of the ways by which an ailing garden can be diagnosed, or a healthy garden properly cared for, is through the use of thermometers and rain gauges. Like most visible pieces that are placed in the garden, these can be found in many different designs and styles to suit the garden-keeper.
For some people, gardens are not only retreats, but also places to study nature; if you are one of those intelligent persons who observes or monitors rain fall, cloud cover, or temperature trends, or studies weather prediction, thermometers and rain gauges are essential additions to your green place.
